Personally I would say do season 1 and then the missing pieces, from what I remember I saw someone give the watch order and it’s really messy to the point to where you have to jump between seasons mid episode.

So just do season 1 and then missing pieces is what I’d recommend

Because the official watch order is a jumbled mess, I made a watch order that’s less jumbled. It’s not perfect, and I’d probably just recommend the two seasons without trying to correct the order, but if you wanted to try to piece it together, this is less tedious than the official watch order.

Well watch Horimiya then Horimiya Missing pieces, just don't bother with watch order cause it's really back and forth and messy.

If u don't mind i suggest you to completely read the manga (if u read manga then only) and then watch Horimiya and then Missing pieces.
In this way you will be in a loop and also you won't get confused

Eventually I’m gonna rewatch it in this exact order just to see if my enjoyment increases

God damn, mad respect for this, but is there really someone who would bother watching it like this?

Please hold your respects. The disclaimer is that I didn’t bother watching it like that myself. I just went off the official manga timeline based watch order, and tried to change the order the best I could so you didn’t have to pause mid episodes too many times. At some point I’ll bother double checking this watch order, but I don’t feel like it as I already watched it twice, once normally, and the second time using the official manga timeline based watch order.
