That isn't really a fair point. WWG as the dev is solely responsible for what gets put in the game. Patrons not voting a particular way doesn't preclude him from adding whatever he wants including more Sterling x Ophelia sex scenes. If you add up all the sex scenes in the game, how many were the result of a Patreon vote? I'm guessing not many.
This is, unfortunately, the same problem that plagues most adult VNs, especially incest VNs. Having sex with the mom or some other main love interest is saved for near the end of the game because it's the most obvious and easy thing to do from a writing standpoint. But once you get there, now what? If it's one of the end goals then we are, by definition, now at the end of the game.
NLT somewhat offsets this with booty calls in his games. Lewdlab added sandbox scenes for the same reasons. I wish it were more common to have stories where we could get to the sex scenes with the main love interests closer to the halfway point than 80-90% to the end.

Your choice is play or don't. Not every story has to give you a million choices. As a matter of fact almost all of them don't.It's not a good choice when I have no choice.

You don't need a million. Just a few are enough. We play the same games and you know how it works. I like this LI and I keep playing with her. Another is rejected. This is at least minimal control over the situation.

And that level of choice makes the dev's job a lot harder, every future scene has to be rewritten, or there's almost no interaction between LIs. It's imo an unreasonable workload to put on a devteam of what is usually just 1. If you get it, appreciate it, but if you don't either accept it or move on.
Personally I prefer they not offer choices and spend that time coding/rendering more scenes with the LIs in the game, cause I'm picking all of them no matter what.

It's completely a fair point. i'm only talking about last chance and why it is what it is and why he shouldn't be blamed for them.
read the quote in my post. he's complaining about what pairing made it. which is what i counter argued. WWG had no control over what pairing made it through last chance poll.
now why he didn't do MORE Ophelia x Sterling is a different argument. I'm only defending last chance discussion.

WWG sets the parameters. He decides what the options are. Of course, we can be happy or unhappy with what wins the votes but he can decide on whether, say, Tsukiko x Ophelia is even a possibility.
I'm not a Patron and it doesn't really matter to me. I just want more Ophelia in my life. And Brenna. And Aliza. And Keira. And Eva. And Lucia. And Drew to fuck them all.

Exactly. He gave the voters every opportunity to use more Ophelia. Ophelia, Cath and Brenna had a special rule that they could be used more than once. Every other character had a rule where they could only be used once.
The subbers didn't do that though. if they wanted Ophelia for every month, they couldn't have done that. they had every opportunity to do that, but it's not what happened.
which is again why i say, for the case of last chance, it's not WWG fault on who was paired. it was majority vote and majority didn't vote for Ophelia. they voted for side characters. if majority wanted to see Ophelia every month, they would ask for Ophelia every month.
Hey everyone. I have not played this since chapter 10, but now when i download non of my old saves work. Also if I restart the game I dont actually do anything in the game but watch as it recaps the whole story. I dont get to walk around the hour or go day to day. Is this common or am I doing it wrong? lol

That is a crucial point. A lot of games have very compartmentalized stories, so if you choose to avoid certain characters it doesn't really matter. But in Power Vacuum, the characters are very aware of each other and have lots of interaction, and many sexual encounters affect other characters and their future interactions. A ridiculous amount of work would be necessary to maintain a cohesive story while giving agency to the players.
Even if I hypothetically didn't like Mallory that much, I love that Ophelia and Aliza saw Sterling fucking Mallory's brains out, because they've known Mallory for so long and are impressed by Sterling, so it makes them more curious about having sex with him. That's just an example of how one character's story contributes to the larger story. It's all interwoven like a soap opera or a sitcom. A bunch of modular stories would be less interesting by comparison.

While I do understand this bro, having less solo scenes with Ophelia & Sterling is a real disservice to the vanilla crowd who waited for this, Hence the only hope as of now will be the character end Story with her unless he decides to club Ophelia's story with someone else, because this being the final chapter solo scenes with her will highly unlikely be there for Sterling since it's the final chapter, solo scenes will be there for NTR though since how that genre works, but for the vanilla crowd who will be skipping almost 30-35% of the update [because of NTR being present; again this % can be less of more will become clear once the update drops].
Solo scenes right now WWG won't focus on them that's why Chapter 12, fans had more expectations

That guide is pointless. the game has a built in walkthrough that tells you what needs to be done.
